The demons and Agaliarept

Sofeira

In an age long past, the demons waged a relentless war against one another, their realm consumed by chaos and death. Agaliarept, the god of demons, grew weary of the endless bloodshed and decreed an end to it: the demons would be bound to an eternal cycle, an undying existence. Yet, in the divine realm, the creation of immortal beings was a forbidden act, punishable by divine law. Agaliarept, defying this sacred order, was destined to pay a grave price. As the demons reveled in their newfound immortality, Agaliarept's form began to fracture, their essence splintering and unraveling. The god, struggling to maintain coherence, was faced with a choice - the only way to restore balance was to destroy their own creations, one by one.To prevent further turmoil on the demon's side, a decree was issued: no demon was to create offspring, for the creation of new life would only deepen the curse. And so, the god’s edict stood firm—only the creator could bring death to their creation, a somber reminder of the price of defiance. Of course, there are such that still defy the demon's law.

"Eternal life is not a part of their codex. It is a sin. A sin that has its price, Agaliarept." -Ancient One
